Sob ditame de rude Almajesto is a chronic/essay by the jurist, poet and chronicler from Bahia, Eurico Alves Boaventura, where he describes a multitude of techniques and experiences developed by the people from Sertão to predict the periods of rain. By describing these observations, we are able to build parallels between the epistemic creation force that anticipated the Greek philosophy. Doing so, we are able to show the proximity between the will to create knowledge that anticipates the first Greek philosophers and the one surrounding the Sertão. We finish by imagining how these works would behave in a philosophical thought.
