Martha Tupinambá de Ulhôa, Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - UNIRIO

PhD in Musicology from Cornell University (1991). Research Fellow at the Institute of Popular Music, University of Liverpool (1997-1998), Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Music at King's College, London (2011 - 2012). Executive Committee chair, of IASPM - International Association for the Study of Popular Music (2011-2013). Professor of Musicology at UNIRIO - Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Researcher Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPq. Has experience in Arts, focusing on Music, acting on the following fields: popular music and musicology.
