In this article, I examine the relationships between memory, history, and collective catastrophes through the collection of the Museu da Pessoa, emphasizing its role as a virtual and collaborative museum. I analyze how individual and collective narratives, especially those featured in the exhibition "Diários de uma Pandemia" ("Diaries of a Pandemic"), reveal the impacts of COVID-19 on social memory and the construction of identities. I connect cyberspace to trauma theory, highlighting its relevance as a support for the preservation and re-signification of traumatic experiences. I argue that the Museu da Pessoa serves as a space of resistance, promoting a museology of affection.
