Loneliness and longing are strong feelings that dilute even the most well-established categories. Nor is the materiality of ideas sufficient to ensure that distances or temporalities remain intact. These are decisive moments, such as life away from the wife and daughters, which lead Ernani Reichmann to a state of deeply existential reflection. He decrees the bankruptcy of the concepts that mark his historical moment and the very saturated image in the concept of "man", the only concept that supports is the "salvation". Thus, on these assumptions, we approach the analysis that Michel Foucault favors, to think about the confessional act. Our sources are letters from 1971 to 1972, because they testify the strong convictions of the person who writes them.
