Abstract

This work discuss how the retaken of Limit Questions between the brazilian states of Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará conditions the territorial production for the intellectuals of the Instituto Histórico, Geográfico e Antropológico do Ceará (IHGA-CE) and the intellectuals of the Instituto Histórico e Geográfico do Rio Grande do Norte (IHG-RN). It is discussed the cearenses and potiguares intellectuals attempts in delimit the territories for the chroniclers, memories, descriptions, commemorations and maps speechs.
