This paper discusses how Chinese migration to the US at the beginning of the 19th century, a process marked by a series of cultural clashes due to the dynamics of racial inferiorization, was accompanied by systematic discrimination against Sinic food, a category interpreted and coined here as “Culinary Racism”. Based on the thematic focus, the work used sources such as newspapers, postcards, electronic games and digital media to understand the forms of prejudice against Chinese food in the USA, from 1820 to the present day.
