Esperamos que a leitura dos textos permitam ter uma ideia do fórum que a História Pública ensejou e almeja consolidar no Brasil. A comunidade historiadora demonstra-se engajada, preocupada com o diálogo com a comunidade, com as narrativas construídas pelos grupos sociais, transformando suas histórias em bens culturais para consolidação de um país plural e inclusivo. Além de compartilhar o saber sobre o passado com não-profissionais da História, a História Pública permite à comunidade historiadora deixar-se levar pela maré criativa de novas possibilidades de passado e construir novas temporalidades em múltiplas frentes.
