Avaliação pelos Pares
Peer Review Process
The journal uses a double-blind peer review system, where neither the authors nor the reviewers identify themselves.
The originals will be subject to review by two independent reviewers, external to the journal, and recognized experts on the topics covered. It should be noted that the documents sent by the authors are confidential throughout the evaluation process, as a way of guaranteeing an opinion free from any influence. Consequently, reviewers will not be able to communicate any aspect of their work to anyone outside the Editorial Committee, beyond their consideration.
Reviewers will have 21 days to deliver the evaluation and must take into account the following aspects:
Is the topic of the article relevant to the journal’s profile?
Does it offer a valuable contribution to existing knowledge?
Is your content current?
Is the presentation of the article adequate (is it coherent, organized, written in an understandable way, has good spelling)?
Do the bibliographic references fit the topic, are they current and are they in the correct format?
The author(s) will have between 15 and 21 days to make any possible corrections in the first round. Other rounds may be necessary. It is up to the Editor-in-Chief to resolve doubts, impasses and the final decision on the edition.
