In this brief essay, I argue for some reformulations of Kant’s ethics (moral philosophy) to solve some of our main existential treats. I try, especially, to show in what sense a Kantian ethics does not need to be radically anticonsequentialist. In other words, it is possible to construct a consequent Kantian ethics and, to illustrate how it can be practical, I discuss the problem of the allocation of scarce resources to salve more life in pandemic times.
