Pedagogical practices associated with urinary infection in pregnant women in health services: reality shown by an umbrella review

Introduction: the pathology of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is caused by the presence of pathogenic microorganisms in urine, and during pregnancy, the anatomical and physiological changes imposed on the urinary tract predispose women to transformations, which make them susceptible to bacterial infections. Objective: analyze possible educational practices aimed at pregnant women with urinary infections treated in health services. Methodology: an umbrella review study was carried out in the following databases: urinary tract infections, basic health, women health, health education. Also following the PRISMA model that determined the guiding question: what are the pedagogical practices that influence the reduction of urinary infections in pregnant women? Results: six review articles were found, where: Four are integrative and two systematic review of these, five studies addressed the objective of this study in a superficial way and one in a specific way. Conclusions: The present study concludes that there is little qualified research in the literature on educational actions aimed at pregnant women with urinary tract infections.
