In Piauí, research involving geodiversity has been developed in the last decade, and despite the growing number, they are still insufficient. Given this scenario, the work aimed to inventory the geodiversity of Vale do Jacaré, municipality of Regeneração, Piauí, emphasizing its potential and associated values. A literature review, office and field research were carried out. The studied municipality reveals potentialities from the point of view of its geological, geomorphological and hydrological heritage, in view of the occurrence of mountains, caves, lakes and canyons. It is recommended that these locations be used as a way to boost geoconservation strategies and the local-based economy, enabling the municipality's economy to become more dynamic. It is expected that the work of different spheres of public power, combined with private initiatives, especially local residents, will implement measures that guarantee the conservation, dissemination and promotion of this valuable geodiversity.
