Abstract

This essay seeks to establish a dia/logos a kind of spectatorparticipant diary with the production Still Life, directed by the Greek choreographer Dimitris Papaioannou. Through this dia/logos which took place between an artistic material and a processual observer innumerous knowledges and points of view are explored. As a result of this process, the phenomenon approached took on a specific catalyzing effect generating tension and significations, thus delineating a possible expanded field.

Author Biography

Matteo Bonfitto, Universidade Estadual de Campinas – UNICAMP

Matteo Bonfitto, actorperformer, director, researcher in the area of Scenic Arts, is a professor of acting at the Drama Department  Arts Institute, UNICAMP (Depto de Artes Cênicas da Unicamp). Besides acting in performances and theatre productions in Brazil as well as in other countries, he is author of books and articles about the acting processes of the actorperformer and a member of Performa Teatro – Artistic Collective  (www.performateatro.org).
