Abstract

The text presents aspects of creation and scenic composition of the Belgian spectacle An Old Monk, conceived by Josse De Pauw and Kris Defoort, highlighting the unusual dialogue built between theater and music. It also recalls the relevant artistic career of actor, author and director Josse De Pauw in the context of the contemporary stage.
