Literature can be associated with other areas of knowledge to assist in the reflection of the reality. This paper analyzes A man: Klaus Klump (2007), Gonçalo M. Tavares’ novel, member of the series The Kingdom which, according to a philosophical and geographical perspective, recreates the war room in a city with no location in space and time, developing a contemporary setting of pain and suffering. In this work, the armed conflict unconfigures and reconfigures all the elements of narrative and proposes historical analysis in parallel.
