This article aims to give a brief historical overview of the definition of an agricultural region and environmental perspective. For this, it works with concepts such as environmental areas, agricultural areas and ecosystems. In the study, it was found that the region is a construction of the researcher himself, who may or may not coincide with an administrative cut or a geographical region recommended in geographical maps.
