The social work against military dictatorship (1964 – 1985)

This paper aims to indicate questions about the importance of studies that can contribute to unveil violations of rights suffered by workers, particularly social workers and students of Social Work during the period of military dictatorship in Brazil. In this sense, the themes related to dictatorial state, repression, control and surveillance that affected these professionals during the military regime are elements that deserve attention. Based on a bibliographical review, it brings research notes about the participation of Social Service professionals in the struggle against the dictatorship in the period 1964-1985.
