Abstract

This article has as its research theme management in the indigenous school, the participation of the community and autonomy within the reality of the territory. The research is bibliographic, documentary and field, with theoretical studies, legislation studies, survey and analysis of empirical data on pedagogical work in school management in two indigenous schools, one Guarani and the other Kaingang, located within the municipality of Mangueirinha/Paraná, close to the Chopinzinho Advanced Campus. The objective was to discuss democratic management and identify how indigenous participation in school management occurs since the construction of the Pedagogical Political Project, identifying the indigenous subjects involved in the process, the limits and the possibilities for advances that need to be built by indigenous schools in school management focusing on Indigenous School Education.
