Resumo

O texto apresenta o método desenvolvido pela autora, denominado Performing landscape [“performando paisagem”], e o discute no contexto do campo expandido em artes cênicas. Se considerarmos a nós mesmos como terráqueos, cidadãos do planeta Terra, a questão das práticas de performances que sejam significativas, pode também ser abordada. Como cidadãos, estamos em relação com uma cidade ou uma sociedade, e também com um local; enquanto terráqueos, estamos relacionados com todos os seres que vivem aqui, e à terra. O ponto de partida do ensaio é o estudo Caos, Território, Arte (2008) de Elisabeth Grosz, que busca desenvolver novas formas de abordar e pensar sobre as artes e as forças que elas estabelecem e transformam. Ela sugere que as artes enquadram ou compõe o caos; e, então, tal sensação pode proliferar. Elas transformam materiais do passado em recursos para o futuro.

Biografia do Autor

Annette Kristina Arlander, Performing Arts Research Centre, Theatre Academy

Artista, pesquisadora e pedagoga, uma das pioneiras da arte da performance finlandesa e pioneira na pesquisa artística. Graduada pelo Departamento de Direção na Academia de teatro em 1981, Doutora em Artes (Teatro e Drama) 1999. Professora de Artes da Performance e Teoria na Theater Academy 2001-2013. Professora de pesquisa artística 2015. Desde 2000 trabalha principalmente no contexto da arte contemporânea.
