Abstract

Fragments of a nocturnal (2008) is the work analyzed in the article, starting from the premise that the artist, namely visual artist, offers in this series the possibility of experiencing other manifestations of arts, dialogues and conceptual concepts, to see, music and the musical composition, with the piano and the erudite music being approached by Gaiad as an image, unfolding from his own life experience. Visual perceptions of a sonority that does not reach us.

Author Biography

Luciane R. N. Garcez, Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC)

Art teacher and critic. Master’s in Theory and History of Art by PPGAV - UDESC, scholarship holder Capes. PhD from Université Aix-Marseille, France, in the area of Studies and Sciences of Art. Post-doctorate in Theory and History of Art, from PPGAV-CEART, UDESC; CAPES / PNPD fellow, under the guidance of Sandra Makowiecky. She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Art Critics Section Brazil Aica Unesco (ABCA); member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA / UNESCO); member of the National Association of Plastic Arts Researchers (ANPAP). Frequently publishes research in the area of Art History as well as contemporary art.
