Abstract

This text is product of the reflections coming from the XXVIII CONFAEB - National Congress of the Art/Educators Federation of Brazil and the VI International Congress of Art Education, promoted by the Federation of Art Educators of Brazil in 2018, in Brasilia, with a thematic table on work that has been jointly undertaken by the Associations of Teaching and Research in Art, in the field of teacher training and in the debate about educational public policies for teaching and research in the field of Art in Brazil. Within the limits of this article, we will share a cartography of the Faebian actions and their dialogue with other associations in recent years, in an attempt to strengthen the debate on the expansion of actions for resizing educational public policies that address the epistemic field of Art / Education , in their different languages, Visual Arts, Dance, Music and Theater committed to the artistic, ethical and aesthetic processes of teaching and learning Art in different educational processes.

Author Biographies

Ana Paula Abrahamian de Souza, Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE)

Professor at the Department of Education at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (DEd-UFRPE) and professor at the Graduate Program in Education, Cultures and Identities (PPGECI - UFRPE / FUNDAJ). Graduated in Pedagogy from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2005), Specialization in Dance Teaching (ESEFE / UPE), Master in Education from the Federal University of Pernambuco and Doctorate in Education (PPGE-UFPE). Currently a collaborating member of the Brazilian Association of Research and Postgraduate in Performing Arts - ABRACE and associate member of the National Association of Postgraduate and Research in Education - ANPED.  Leader of the Research Group on Cultural Studies and Art/Education (GPECAE-UFRPE) and researcher at the Art in Pedagogy Group (GPAP-MACKENZIE-SP). Develops research on the epistemic field of Art/Education and Cultural Studies in Education with emphasis on Body, Gender and Sexualities.

Fabiana Souto Lima Vidal, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE)

PhD in Education and Master in Education from the Federal University of Pernambuco (PPGE-UFPE); Specialist in Art, Education and Contemporary Technologies - UnB (2006); Degree in Artistic Education / Fine Arts - UFPE. Professor of Visual Arts at the UFPE College of Application and at the Associate Graduate Program in Visual Arts UFPE/UFPB. Member of the Representative Network of the Art/Educators Federation of Brazil - FAEB / PE. Vice-leader of the Research Group on Cultural Studies and Art/Education (GPECAE), researcher at the Art in Pedagogy Group (GPAP - Mackenzie University - SP) and at the Teacher Training and Teacher Professionalization Research Group (UFPE). Develops studies around Art / Education and Cultural Studies, with emphasis on visualities, experiences and the aesthetic formation of teachers.
