Abstract

This study aims to present the recurring topics discussed in the "Grupo Repositórios do Brasil," created in 2015 on the WhatsApp application, which brings together members of the scientific and technical community. The research is classified as both qualitative and quantitative, and content analysis was used to examine group messages from 2018 to 2022. The selected sample consisted of topics presented in the form of questions, excluding posts about events, news, courses, and videos. The results revealed that the main subjects most discussed by the community were: cataloging, DSpace, collections, metadata, policy, thesis work, copyright, archives, self-archiving, and team. The recurrence of these topics may be related to different phases of repository implementation and maturity, as well as the advancement of scientific knowledge on these subjects, which may lead to changes in database management processes, software updates, and service deployment. The study emphasizes the "Grupo Repositórios do Brasil" as an important informal space for exchanging experiences among members of the scientific and technical community.
