The present research seeks to present femicide and its interfaces within sociological interventions. Thus, the general objective of the study was to investigate gender violence based on sociological characteristics and its possibilities of didactic intervention in the Teaching of Sociology in High School of Basic Education in Brazil. To this end, bibliographic and documentary research was developed through the collection of the indicator of "New Cases of Femicide Knowledge" published on the National Judiciary Policy Monitoring website for Combating Violence against Women, of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). As a result, it is evident that the new cases of knowledge of femicide between 2016 and 2020 showed regional variations that point to aspects related to these data, as well as the significant increase in the death of Brazilian women victims of hatred and aversion to the mere fact of being a woman. . It is concluded that an effective didactic intervention in Sociology teaching, based on these data, can sensitize high school students to a more critical stance.
