Educational workshop with adolescents on gender, sex and gender identity: an experience report

Introduction: Adolescence is a period of construction of sexuality issues, including gender, sex and gender identity. Objective: To report the experiences on the activities of an intervention project carried out with teenagers on the subject of gender, sex and gender identity. Methodology: This is an experience report of the activities carried out in the second academic period of 2021, based on an intervention project of a curricular component of the undergraduate Nursing course. The activities took place in an educational institution, with students from the 6th and 7th year of elementary school and were developed in 4 different stages according to the syllabus. Results: These contents were addressed using various participatory methodologies relevant to the target audience, providing the sharing of experiences, discussion and reflection on the themes in question. It also allowed the student to exercise their knowledge through teaching-community integration.
