Abstract

With the large number of scientific publications disseminated in the world, Capes Periodicals Portal is a tool for searching and retrieving fundamental information for scientific research, construction and dissemination  of knowledge. Therefore, this research proposes a bibliometric study about the articles published in the area of ??Information Science in journals classified by the WebQualis system in strata A1 and A2, which had Portal as object of analysis, in order to identify on which aspects the Portal was investigated, according to the variables: year of publication, authorship (training and institution of origin) and thematic approach.
