Focus and Scope

Revista Digital Constituição e Garantia de Direitos (RDCGD) is a journal affiliated with the Graduate Program in Law and the Electronic Journals Portal of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Operating on a continuous flow basis, it publishes original works semiannually within the field of Legal Sciences, presenting the results of studies and research related to activities in these areas. It currently publishes original articles and employs a double-blind peer in which neither authors nor reviewers are identified to one another adhering to criteria established by the journal's editorial policies. The journal is multilingual, publishing works in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.

The journal offers free and immediate access to its content. It does not charge fees for submission, review, editing or publication (APCs), upholding the principle of open, free and public access to scientific knowledge for the academic community and society at large, as well as the full democratization of information and knowledge. The journal uses the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA public license. 

The topics of interest to the journal are defined according to the classification of the National Council for the Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq):

Mission

To disseminate original articles that contribute to the advancement of scientifc knowledge, democratize acces to this knowledge and promote a high-quality journal in the field of Law.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes works on a continuous basis: all submissions received, evaluated and accepted for publication are processed and published. Published works are compiled into a single volume, divided into two issues and released semiannually. 

Use of Thesauri

RDCGD employs thesaurus to standardize the assignment of keywords to published materials, aiming to improve the discoverability of the works. The thesauri used are the Supreme Federal Court (STF) for publications in Portuguese, and the UNESCO Thesaurus for publications in English, Spanish and French.
