Resumo

Classifying the syntactic filling up the subject,based on purely syntactic criterious, constitutesreductions of the phenomenon, that reaches fullsignificance only when the discursive motivations areconsidered. There are discursive strategies about howthe enunciator must choice, accordingly pragmaticideologicconveniences, the semantic arguments inorder to fill up the subject’s vacancy. Such evidenceshave been shown in discursive genres of the formalcommunication.
