"Born in Liquid Times" is one of the last writings of the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, built in partnership with the Italian journalist Thomas Leoncini. This posthumous text is dedicated to the reflection of some important dilemmas in the universe of relations and meanings of contemporary youth. This generation, whose cradle of sociability has always been the uncertain and volatile environment of liquid modernity, has been responsible for emblematic transformations with regard to social identification practices. Considering the importance of this debate, this review proposes a reflective presentation on the theoretical-conceptual aspects treated by the authors as a comprehensive key for intelligibility of processes such as symbolic-identity appropriations of the body, incorporation of casual violence into forms of bullying and constitution of new patterns of sexual and loving relationships. In this context, the considerations made take into account Bauman's own analytical legacy as a discursive support, as well as the intentionalities and role of this latter work in the general scope of his work, thus emphasizing the relevance and character of this work that recently made available to the public Brazilian.
