The main objective of this research was to analyze and compare the characteristics that make up the profiles of graduates of the Music degree courses at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Sobral Campus, and the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) during the period between 2011 and 2020. The references used are based on related works related to the profiles of graduates in Music degree courses in Brazil. The starting question of this research was to investigate the similarities and differences in the profiles of graduates in the Music Degree courses at UFC/Sobral and UFPI between 2011 and 2020. Its methodology contemplated a universe of 136 graduates, characterized as a documentary research, since it encompassed the survey, cataloging and analysis of the information collected about the profiles of graduates from both educational institutions with SIGAA. As a result of the work and discussion, it is possible to identify and compare the profiles of graduates from the two institutions based on the following categories of analysis: a) gender; b) the number per class and per year; c) city of origin; d) age group; e) race/color; f) type of disabilities and; g) type of school. The final considerations point to the impacts of changes in the trajectory of graduate profiles during the 10-year period of each institution, as well as in the evaluation of the possibilities for facing the challenges of each course.
