Liame vivo: quadros da memória coletiva, genealógica e familiar em espaço terrestre, de Gilvan Lemos

The study aims to analyze the family and genealogical memories as one of its structural plot elements of the Espaço Terrestre (1993) novel's, by Gilvan Lemos and its importance to solidifies the family group. To do this, supported on the theory of social frames of memory, which indicates a set of collective mnemonic aspects that characterize and perpetuate as memories of a group. Concepts discussed by Maurice Halbwachs (2003; 2004), Ecléa Bosi (1994), Myriam Lins Barros (1987), and others, comprise the theorical set of ideias to understand the theme. It was possible to verify that the collective, genealogical and family memories are basic elements in the construction of the plot and in the conservation of the group's unity.
