The journal aims to gather research from professors and researchers from different institutions, as well as Master's and Ph.D. students from various Graduate Programs.
Saberes accepts unpublished and original articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with abstract and keywords in the language of the article and in two other different languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish).
Saberes issues calls for special thematic issues.
Peer Review Process
All submitted works are initially reviewed by the Editorial Committee to verify the relevance of the submission in terms of scope, originality (using anti-plagiarism software), and compliance with the journal's guidelines. Works approved at this stage are sent for double-blind review (without author identification) by reviewers, who may be members of the Scientific Council or ad hoc reviewers, following the double-blind peer review model. Approval or rejection is determined by two consistent reviews. If there is a discrepancy between the first two reviews, a third reviewer will be consulted to break the tie. Works may be approved, rejected, or approved on the condition that revisions are made. In this case, authors must make the necessary adjustments and resubmit the text for further evaluation. The final decision on publication rests with the Editorial Committee.
Frequency
Saberes is an annual journal (January-December), with publication in January.
