For this, it was adopted an inductive method, based on a literature review on the topic, in addition to the analysis and study of the conventional text. It was noticed, throughout the work, that the Convention foresees a regime of restriction to the limits of human rights, directing the provisions of the States in this sense and, thus, qualifying the content of the list of rights and the relationship between species and, also, protecting this role and the core of central values that guide the inter-american human rights system, which its right set seek to achieve.
