O funcionamento das formações imaginárias a respeito de uma mulher negra podcaster

Abstract

This work comes from the finding of a thread on the social network Twitter that exposes the formation of an imaginary about the podcaster-subject by her listeners. In the corpus analysis, composed by five tweets, we are interested in finding out in which ways the thread relates to preconstructed notions about the speech and voice of black women. To this, we will address the notions of imaginary and ideological formations, according to Pêcheux, ideology and unconscious, according to Orlandi, and controlling images, according to Collins. It is observed that anticipations based on the podcaster’s voice and speech result in imaginary formations that are related with controlling images about black women.
