Theoretically and methodologically located in Ethnography in Applied Linguistics, and departing from the bakhtinian notion of expressivity as a judgement on reality which is necessarily triggered by the active positioning of subjects in utterances, this text studies the meaning judgements expressed by Guarani and Kaingang teachers and leaders in their utterances on objects that permeate indigenous political discourse on land and indigenous differentiate schooling: struggle, strength and right. Within a transdisciplinary approach, this text synthesizes Guarani and Kaingang expressivity at their uttering about a struggle that is judged continuous, ineludible, extreme, human and physical; a struggle that unites the strength of individuals and grounds a right that is inside the body since birth, but is algo recognized by law, and refers to life, survival, possibility of a future with dignity, respect and peace in the ancestors’ lands.
