This article aims to verify how the voices reported in scientific articles produced in the Professional Master's Program in Letters (ProfLetras) are configured, observing them in the constitution of the teacher-researcher's voice. The theoretical and methodological assumptions used in the research comprise, in a central way, the studies of the Bakhtin Circle (2010, 2016), especially on the conceptions of language, ideological sign, axiological positions and discourse of others. The study is configured as a dissertation clipping developed in the Graduate Program in Language Studies of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The corpus is composed by three scientific articles produced by egress students of ProfLetras and published in a scientific journal, available in electronic format. This research adopts the interpretative method of the indiciary paradigm proposed by Ginzburg (1989). The results indicate that: a) to expose their axiological positions, teacher-researchers make use of different strategies, such as resorting to daily discourses published in their context, and reporting authors, dictionaries, in addition to reference documents of Portuguese language teaching, seeking to corroborate the ideas defended.
