The article aims to explore child labor exploitation. Its objective is to analyze the main trends observed over the past decade, including the Covid-19 pandemic period. The methodological procedure applied in this study involved bibliographical review. Data collection was carried out through legal and sociological books, monographs, laws, and regulations addressing the discussed topic. Ultimately, the aim is to stimulate reflections on child labor, succinctly demonstrating the most resilient forms of child labor in the state of Amazonas, such as domestic and informal urban labor. It seeks to understand the legal aspects of child labor in the Brazilian legal system, describe the worst forms of child labor, and its impacts on the lives of minors. It also aims to demonstrate the roles of responsible parties in ensuring the realization of these rights, including the State through its public bodies, families, society, communities, and the Rights Guarantee System. The article seeks to encourage the development and promotion of prevention and eradication actions against this serious violation of children and adolescents rights. However, studies indicate a stagnation, for the first time in the last 20 years, in reducing child labor. Despite this, several countries, including Brazil, have committed to eliminating all forms of child labor by 2025.
