Submissions
Submission guidelines
As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify that their submission complies with all of the following items. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned to the authors for correction.
→ Metadata is essential for the publication process; therefore, it is extremely important that ALL fields mentioned in the metadata section are completed.
→ The submitted work must be in Microsoft Word format without author identification, using the submission template.
→ The submitted file should not contain any information regarding the authors to ensure a blind review process. This information should only be included in the article's metadata during the registration process in the Open Journal System (OJS).
→ The submitted article must be original and unpublished, and is NOT being considered for publication by another journal.
→ The keywords summarizing the submitted work must have been taken from the following thesauri: Thesaurus of the Supreme Federal Court or Thesaurus UNESCO. This use is mandatory for keyword standardization purposes.
→ The text structure is in full accordance with the Author Guidelines.
→ The abstract, sections, and bibliographic references of the text are in accordance with the most recent version of the Brazilian Standard of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).
→ In the bibliographic references, the DOIs for publications accessed online by the author must be included.
→ The main authorship belongs to an author holding a PhD in Law or related fields.
→ In the case of master's students, masters, and doctoral students, the submission must be co-authored with someone holding a PhD.
→ Articles by undergraduate students, graduates, and specialists will not be published, even if co-authored with a PhD holder.
→ The journal accepts a maximum of 3 (three) contributors per manuscript. Articles exceeding this limit will not be evaluated.
→ Authors are responsible for the content of the article and accept the journal's terms and conditions.
Guidelines for Authors
The Digital Journal Constitution and Guarantee of Rights accepts submissions of works only related to legal themes. To define the areas and sub-areas, we adopted the CNPq Classification Table:

As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify that their submission complies with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will be returned to the authors.
Metadata Completion
Works must be submitted to the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, and their metadata must be correctly completed. The metadata to be completed includes: title, subtitle (if any), abstract, author(s) name(s), contact email, affiliation, Lattes URL, ORCID (if you do not have one, obtain one at https://orcid.org/signin), biographical summary. If you have already completed the metadata, check the information to keep it up to date.
Submission Languages
RDCGD accepts papers written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French.
Manuscript Template and Organization
Manuscripts must conform to the template provided on the journal's website, following all guidelines regarding information layout and ABNT standards.
The ABNT standards recommended for the preparation of scientific papers are:
- Journal Article: NBR 6022/2018
- Abstract: NBR 6028/2021
- References: NBR 6023/2025
- Citations: NBR 10520/2023
- Progressive numbering: NBR 6024/2012
The file format to be submitted must be .docx (Word).
For standardization purposes, the journal adopts the use of thesauri for assigning keywords to published materials. The thesauri used are:
- Thesaurus of the Supreme Federal Court (publications in Portuguese).
- Thesaurus Unesco (publications in English, Spanish and French).
Manuscript Structure
Papers should include the following structure: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, conclusions or final considerations, and references. Check the manuscript Template.
About the Authors
All authors must provide their ORCID number.
The journal adopts the CrediT taxonomy to describe the contributions of each author within an article. Therefore, the author responsible for submitting the work must inform each participant's role at the time of submission, as described in the author collaboration section.
Copyright Statement
Authors retain copyright to their article. However, they transfer first publication rights to the journal. In return, the journal may transfer copyright, allowing the use of the article for non-commercial purposes, including the right to submit the work to other databases or publication venues.
Privacy Policy
The names and addresses provided to this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.
