Abstract

Considering the changes in today's society, where students already have contact with media resources, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), even before entering school, and develop great skills with these resources, this research work, carried out in a state elementary school, aimed to verify how much these resources are capable of influencing the development of student learning, making them active agents in their own learning process. To this end, a practice was carried out where students used various media resources (ICT), and among these resources, the internet was used, a fundamental tool to encourage students to research and share information. Through the use of the internet as a source of communication with the outside world, students are able to construct their own knowledge and interact with the society in which they are inserted. The data collected and observed during the research work made it possible to analyze how significant and stimulating it is for students to integrate media resources (ICT) into their learning process. The students demonstrated great motivation in carrying out the proposed research, as it led to new research possibilities and new concepts to be debated on the researched topic, enriching the research work and integrating classroom content with the students' reality. With the aim of disseminating the information found in the research, the students shared information with the school community through media resources (ICT).
