Abstract

This article aims to analyze the benefits and need for improvements in early childhood education at Unit XXV São Francisco, located in Sítio São Rafael, rural area of ​​Currais Novos/RN, based on an internship experience report, focusing on the influence of local territoriality during the teaching and learning process. During the internship, this relationship with Territoriality emerges along with the need to explore and address reflections on the need to discuss and involve Territoriality from Early Childhood Education onwards. From this, this research is a qualitative approach, where we seek to understand advantages and needs for improvements when working with Territoriality from Early Childhood Education in the rural area of ​​Currais Novos/RN, the study has an exploratory purpose, aiming to bring reflections to the educational scope as a way of discussing the need for preparation for educational practices involving Territoriality in Multigrade classes in Early Childhood Education, as well as adopting a case study based on hypotheses brought up during the Supervised Internship.
