REALIDADE OU PROMESSA?

Abstract

This paper deals with the implementation of the principles of the Economic Constitution in Brazil. The research problem is: after more than thirty-five years since the promulgation of the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil, on October 5, 1988, is the implementation of the Economic Constitution a reality or just a promise that has not yet been fulfilled? The objectives of this paper are the following: analyze the principles that govern the Brazilian economic order; address the most important characteristics of the Theory of the Economic Constitution, especially its application in the Brazilian legal system; and study the reasons that may impede its implementation. The research method used is deductive, and the procedural method is monographic.
