The different ways of recognizing cultural identities and their relationship to the right to development

Abstract

This study aims to examine and critically analyze the current nature of the main philosophical challenges regarding the recognition of cultural identities. It seeks not only to provide a systemic analysis of the conflicts arising from this recognition process and the proposals offered by institutions and scholars for the field's development, but also to describe and question the manifold consequences of this issue across legal, political, economic, cultural, and social spheres. The study focuses primarily on the demands and conflicts between values ​​and principles inherent in the process of recognizing social cultural identities. Furthermore, it examines the legislative and social frameworks surrounding cultural interfaces and related practices, along with their respective consequences. Finally, it employs academic critique to understand the reasons behind the difficulties in overcoming the obstacles associated with these demands.
